We produced the steel bearing housing pictured here for a customer in the fastener industry. CNC turned from cold rolled 101B steel to give it strength and stiffness, it featured an outside diameter of 1-3/8", length of 2-5/16", and 125 RMS machined finish. Our precision equipment, combined with the skills of our machining staff, enabled us to meet the ultra-tight +0.004"/-0.000" tolerance requirement. We produced 300 pieces within a short timeframe.
